As a girl in her 20s, it’s always so tempting to buy the latest and greatest when it comes to skincare and beauty (or actually everything). But I’ve found some really great products that aren’t so bad for your wallet either.
+ The Milani Baked Blush comes in the most gorgeous colors, which all provide a beautiful glow. They are not too glittery and provide great color. The best part is that you can find these in your local drugstore for less than $8.
+ Over the past year, I have been focused on trying to find products that are both not filled with too many harsh chemicals and ones that are affordable as well. Acure Organics is an amazing brand and I love their Volume Shampoo and Conditioner. These will run you about $10 each.
+ If you haven’t heard of Bite Beauty head on over to Sephora and snag on of these luminous creme lipstick duos ($14). Two great creamy lipsticks in one is just awesome, and not to mention a great space saver in you handbag (you know, so you can make room for all your receipts and other junk!;) )
+ I don’t know why it took me so long to try the Simple Skincare line, but I don’t think I can go back. I love that its affordable, doesn’t have too many harsh chemicals, and is accessible – which means I can just run to target when I run out. If you haven’t tried their micellar cleansing water ($8), you really must pick it up! I’ve heard so much about Bioderma and various cleansing waters, but I wasn’t about to spend a lot of money. The reason I love the simple cleansing water is that I can use it to remove makeup or just use it to cleanse my face on lazy days at home. The light moisturizer ($13) is also perfect for added sun protection.
+ If you have a Trade Joes near you, definitely check out their moisturizing shave cream. If makes your legs feel so soft and the honey mango scent is phenomenal. They run about $4 if you pick it up in the store, or you can purchase on Amazon for about $9.
