Hello friends! For the past few months, shopping for clothes was not interesting to me (say what?!) and I was really more in the window shopping mood. In our recent move, I have reorganize my closet and have donated a ton more items to the local thrift shop (go me!). And while I have less items, I decided it was time to do a little shopping and I honestly could not resist some of the amazing sales going on recently.
First off, I have been dying to invest in a new pair of leggings, not the $9.99 spandex ones from target, which I admit I own. I really wanted a more structured black pant / legging that was more polished. I stumbled in Banana Republic, a fave since they cater really well to petites in the workplace, and tried on the Sloan Leggings – which are amazing! I have the Sloan Crop Ankle Pant that I wear to the office and I didn’t realize they make a legging version. The fabric is a true black and in my experience with my other pair, they do not fade and stay a true black. Since BR was having 40% their entire store, I didn’t have a problem investing in these!
Last week LOFT was also having 50% off their entire store, I picked this polka dot top up for… hold on to this.. $4.88. What a score! I also picked up this graduated stripe tank for $5. I was thrilled at these prices to say the least.
Here is also a photo of me with the Sloan Leggings. I seriously find them so slimming, and so comfy.
I also recently stopped by Old Navy and found these Boyfriend Cardigans, which are long on me, for a steal! They were 50% making them around $13, so I picked up two in neutral tones because you can never have too many cardigans!
At Banana Republic I also picked up these smoky green earrings. I couldn’t resist the price and they would be a good staple to my jewelry collection. Oh and did I also mention they were less than $5.00?
I also wanted to share a few fragrance samples I got! Although I didn’t buy them, the kind folks at My Daughters Fragrances sent me these scents and I am loving their Always Loved fragrance.
